My Approach

Mindfulness Teaching

As an accredited mindfulness practitioner, I offer guidance in cultivating true presence and awareness. In a time when mindfulness is often diluted into quick fixes, I focus on techniques that help you sustainably reconnect with the present moment, navigate overthinking, and face fear with clarity and openness. I believe that this is mindfulness as it was meant to be—a practice rooted in authenticity and a deeper understanding of life.

Meditation Practice

I teach the wonders of meditation and how this practice can be naturally integrated into your life. Meditation today is often commercialized and reduced to superficial techniques, I guide you toward a truly personal practice that is free from rigid structures and external goals. True meditation is a journey of awareness, presence, and profound simplicity—an exploration of your inner being, without the distractions of trends or gimmicks.

At the heart of my practice is the power of open dialogue and inquiry—a space in which to explore the questions that matter to you. This isn’t about offering advice or following rigid frameworks but about uncovering clarity through genuine conversation. Together, we can delve into the patterns of thought, fear, and belief that shape your experience, fostering a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.

Conversations That Matter

Session Format

How Sessions Are Structured

It is important for new clients to know what to expect from our sessions, especially during the beginning. While the initial sessions are structured based on our first consultation, I believe it is important to adopt a flexible approach that depends on the needs of each client.

You may find you benefit most from learning specific mindfulness techniques, while another person may prefer looser, more free-flowing sessions in which dialogue is prioritised and we get to the root of what is on your mind.

Life is constantly changing and no two days are the same. Sometimes the ocean is calm and still, only to give way to a storm. Depending on your current needs, we may spend a few sessions focused on anxiety, and subsequent sessions may be more geared towards bringing awareness and presence into your life.

The beauty of our sessions is that you will always have a safe, non-judgmental space to return to each week. Sometimes you may just need to be listened to, other times you may prefer a more focused, direct teaching.

Below is an example of what you can expect from an initial session:

Check-In (10 mins): Here we discuss your current state, it is where you are encouraged to bring up any issues that may be bothering you, or any problems you are struggling to cope with. This can range from work-related issues, to social anxiety or coping with pain.

Guided Meditation (5-10 mins):
It is important for me to know that you feel relaxed and at-ease during our session, so we always start with a short, guided meditation to bring you to your centre.

Discussion (15 - 25 minutes): It is here we focus on the main theme of the session. For example, you may inform me that you have been struggling with anxiety, it is during this discussion we shine a light on anxiety in a mindful way, getting to the root of it and uncovering ways of dealing with it. There is never any pressure and we work at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Technique Application (10minutes): Depending on your needs, I will always strive to teach you mindfulness techniques to take away and apply to your day to day life. This may be a specific meditation practice, a practical exercise or a way to approach a specific problem you may be facing.

Closing Reflections (5 minutes): A final chat where we review any key moments or insights from our session together. We discuss how to integrate what you have learned between this session and the next.
